Content might be categorized differently than it was previously, but you'll be able to find content by searching for the artist or collection name. How to see recent purchases on the web
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- A list of your recent purchases appears. If you’re not sure what you were charged for but you know the exact amount, search for the amount. If there's a problem with an item that you purchased, use this website to report the problem to Apple.
To see charges from older purchases, you might need to look at your purchase history in Settings or the App Store.

See your purchase history on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name, then tap Media & Purchases. You might be asked to sign in.
- Tap Purchase History.
- Your purchase history appears. If you want to see purchases that you made more than 90 days prior, tap Last 90 Days, then select a different date range.

See your purchase history on your computer
- Open the Music app or iTunes. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose Account, then click View My Account.
- On the Account Information page, scroll down to Purchase History. Next to Most Recent Purchase, click See All.
- Find the item. It might take a moment for your Purchase History to appear. If you want to see purchases that you made more than 90 days prior, click Last 90 Days, then select a date range.

If you can't find an item in your purchase history
If you can’t find the item you’re looking for, try these things before you contact Apple.
Find out if a family member purchased the item
If you use Family Sharing, your purchase history shows purchases that you made using your Apple ID, but you won't see what other family members bought. To see what other family members bought, sign in with their Apple ID.
If family members have access to your device, you might want to require a password for every purchase.
To control what kids buy on their own devices, turn on Ask to Buy.
Check if you purchased the item with a different Apple ID
If you don't see an item in your purchase history, you might have been signed in with a different Apple ID when you made the purchase. Sign in with that Apple ID to check if your purchases were billed to that account.

If you see purchases that you don't recognize or unexpected charges
- If you see items in your purchase history that you don't remember buying, check if someone else who uses your device, such as a family member, bought the item. If someone else is using your Apple ID and password, change your Apple ID password.

Now there's an app for every media type
With macOS Catalina, your music, videos, podcasts, and audiobooks are organized in to their own dedicated apps — the Apple Music app, Apple TV app, Apple Podcasts app, and Apple Books app. You can also access your iTunes Store purchases in these apps.
If you have a PC, you can continue to use iTunes for Windows to manage your media library, make purchases, and manually sync and manage your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Finder is the new place to back up, update, or restore your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Just connect your device to your Mac and it appears in the Finder sidebar. And you can easily drag and drop files to your device.

Upgrade your iTunes library

If you open the Apple Podcasts app or Apple Books app first, you won't see any of your media until you open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app.

Here are some things to know
- The Apple Music app and Apple TV app read the contents of your iTunes library — so don't delete your iTunes library.
- If you open the Apple Music app and don't see all of your album artwork, leave the Apple Music app open so your album artwork can finish downloading.
- If you previously used multiple iTunes libraries, your audiobooks are imported in to the Apple Books library and podcasts are imported in to the Apple Podcasts library on your computer.

All of your music is now in the Apple Music app
The Apple Music app is where you can find all of your music, including music that you imported in to iTunes, purchased from the iTunes Store, and playlists and smart playlists that you created in iTunes. And if you subscribe to Apple Music, you can stream and download millions of songs, and access your entire music library across all of your devices.

Looking for the iTunes Store?
If you don't see the iTunes Store in the sidebar, here's how to find it:
- Open the Apple Music app.
- In the menu bar, choose Music > Preferences.
- Go to the General tab and select iTunes Store.
- Click OK.

The Apple TV app is the new home for all of your movies, TV shows, and home videos — including your purchases from iTunes. Browse movies and TV shows that you can buy, rent movies, and subscribe to just the channels that you want to watch. And soon you can discover new favorites with Apple TV+.
